Why we started
Mulch Bros began with a simple observation about yard work in Oakland County: the hard part is almost never the work itself. It is getting somebody to turn up, give you a straight number, and finish what they started.
So that is what we built the company around. Not being the cheapest mulch in Michigan, and not being the biggest. Being the one that answers, quotes the whole job, and comes back next season.
What we are trying to be
The goal is that a homeowner in Milford, Brighton or Novi can hand us their yard for the year and stop thinking about it. That means doing more than mulch: cleanups, beds, edging and weed prevention, handled by the same crew on a schedule you did not have to chase.
What we hold ourselves to
- Show up when we said we wouldA text before every visit, and the same crew leader who already knows your yard. Most of what people dislike about hiring a landscaper is not the work, it is not knowing when anyone is coming.
- Quote the whole numberThe price we give you covers the material, the delivery and the labour. Mulch is priced per yard installed rather than as a list of parts, so there is nothing to add up afterwards.
- Do the parts nobody seesEdging before mulching, keeping mulch off the trunk flare, pulling weeds before the pre-emergent goes down. None of it shows on the day. All of it shows in August.
- Make it easy to say yesFree quotes, no obligation, and the Bro Bank for people who would rather spread the cost across the year than pay for a season in one go.
- Hire well and keep themThe crew is the product. We would rather pay to keep good people than be cheapest and start again every spring.
